Manual Override & Safety Protocols
Even in high-autonomy settings, safety mechanisms are critical. Lunexa includes built-in override paths and kill-switch logic to allow secure human intervention at any time.
Manual Controls
Pause Agent: Temporarily disable a specific agent
Pause Domain: Disable all agents in a domain (e.g., treasury)
Global Pause: Halt all agent activity across the iDAO
Rollback: Revert to a prior known-good policy config (within N block window)
Override actions are protected by:
Access control roles (Creator / Operator / Governor)
Optional multi-sig confirmation
Optional governance vote threshold
Automated Safeguards
Rate throttling: Limits on how fast agents can act
Budget ceilings: No single action can exceed X% of treasury
Watchdog agents: Dedicated meta-agents that monitor others and alert operators
Failsafe mode: Activates when multiple agents misbehave or conflict
These systems ensure iDAOs never operate blindly — even in Phase 3 autonomy
